We mourn the loss of Kenneth H. Miser Jr. (Ken), who passed away on November 23, 2025, born December 9, 1962, to Kenneth H. Sr. and Louise Miser. Ken was preceded in death by his husband, Brooks (Bill) Conover. Ken was a founding member of the Chisholm Trail Stonewall Democrats, a fierce warrior for the LGBTQIA+ Community. Member of TDWJC: Texas Democratic Women of Johnson County
Ken served as precinct chair for the Johnson County Democratic Party.
Known for his unwavering commitment and generous spirit, Ken touched countless lives through his advocacy and dedication. His leadership and compassion inspired friends and colleagues alike, leaving a legacy that will not be forgotten. Ken’s advocacy extended beyond political circles, fostering connection, understanding, and hope in the broader community. His memory endures in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his contributions will continue to impact the causes he championed for years to come.

As an official chapter of the Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus, we invite all Democratic stakeholders and allies from our surrounding counties to join us in our mission. Together, we can amplify our voices, support pro-LGBT Democrats, and increase voter turnout to ensure that hope is never silent.
